E-forms (sometimes called electronic forms or web forms) is the technology that enables everyone to submit data online through a web-browser.

With e-forms anyone can quickly and easily enter or edit any data in a database. This enables system users to populate and manage databases through their web-browsers. This approach is a step up from conventional database population techniques, such as manually generating data files of a specific format (CSV, XLS etc) and feeding them to a system.

E-forms are a fundamental feature of many Texunatech’s solutions involving data collection and management. Other approaches to data input and management can be employed in parallel, for example:

  • Huge and complicated legacy datasets are usually manually imported while outdated legacy systems are being overhauled
  • Feeds from third-party software systems can be processed automatically or manually on a regular basis
  • OCR solutions can be implemented to support paper documentation processes
